BEAUTY AND THE BICYCLE is a meditation on the art of frame building. Exploring their working methods and philosophies, the film focuses on premier frame builders Richard Sachs and Peter Weigle. Trained at Witcomb Cycles in England, the pair
returned to the United States to start Witcomb USA in Connecticut. Working only in steel, they use traditional time-intensive custom workmanship to create bicycles used at the highest level of international cycling.
